This month: August’s venue change to the usual Tuesday Chaplaincy drop-in…August break for the Mad Jam session…dates for Edinburgh Community Voices, Cambridge Street Community Voices and Outlook student meetings…updates on the Wellbeing PSP and the AdvoCard work on Physical Health…info about the Royal Ed Summer Fete…new creative writing group starting up…a comprehensive update on AdvoCard’s Welfare Reform and Social Security work by Arlene…a calendar page with listings for groups and events…and much more.

Please note that the next main Edinburgh Community Voices meeting will take place
- on Wednesday 2 August
- between 2pm and 4pm
- at AdvoCard
- 332 Leith Walk, EH6 5BR
- free tea, coffee and biscuits and some good conversation.
If you would prefer to come to a meeting just for Outlook Students, there will be a “gathering” with tea/coffee biscuits and chat on Thursday 31 August at Tollcross Community Centre between 2pm and 4pm
If you are supported by Community Mental Health Team services or have lived experience of being supported by the CMHT services in Edinburgh, you can also come along to the Cambridge Street Community Voices meeting on Wednesday 9 August at Cambridge Street House between 2pm and 3.30pm
Edinburgh Community Voices meetings are open to anyone with lived experience of mental health issues. If you have not been to and Edinburgh Community Voices meeting before and would like to come along you can call or email to ask us about what we do at the meetings.
